Cow Bay Eagle Bluff B&B Prince Rupert, BC

This bustling port city is built on Kaien Island at the mouth of the Skeena River. It services a growing number of cruise ships as well as vessels loading grain, fish, pulp products and ore from the interior. Prince Rupert is also a terminal site for the Alaska State Ferry and BC Ferries systems. Originally the area was home to the Tsimshian and Haida Native peoples, many of whose descendents still live in this coastal community or the surrounding area. www.tourismprincerupert.com
