SHIPS AT PORT quick links

While ships at sea function as autonomous floating cities, port visits require the help of a number of people and machinery. In 2005, there were 272 sailings through the Port of Vancouver, with cruise ships carrying over 900,000 passengers. The Port of Vancouver was recently cited as the most passenger-friendly cruise port in North America, according to the London-based travel publishing firm Berlitz.
